Susie Lopez and Dr. Adam Holdt

Dr. Dave and Syl Holdt, of Scottsbluff are pleased to announce the engagement of their son, Adam, to Susie Leonard Lopez, both of Denver, Colo.

Susie is the daughter of Mary Francis Leonard of Washington D.C., and Alfredo Lopez, of Junction, Texas. She graduated from Smoky Hill High School, in Aurora, Colo. and is currently employed as a Registered Nurse at the University of Colorado Hospital Emergency Department.

Adam is a graduate of Scottsbluff High School, a 2002 graduate of Northwestern University, in Evanston, Ill., with a degree in Biomedical Engineering, a 2007 graduate of University of Chicago Pritzker school of Medicine. He is in his third year of residency.

The couple is planning an Aug. 1 wedding at St. James Catholic Church in Denver.
