Carlson earns top honor in Box Butte County Spelling Contest

Updated: Asa Carlson, a seventh grade student at Hemingford Junior High, won the Box Butte County Spelling Contest at Alliance Middle School on February 24. The competition pitted sixth-eighth grade students from Hemingford and Alliance against each other.

Pheasants Forever banquet Saturday

School changes insurance coverage

The Hemingford Public Schools Board of Education held a special meeting Monday evening for the purpose of discussion and acceptance of district insurance bids for the period of March 8, 2010 through March 7, 2011.
