Complete your tournament bracket by picking the winners of the 63 tournament games, including the final four teams and the eventual champion. Play-in games will not be included in overall scores. 2. Once the bracket has been submitted, the contestant is officially participating. Submitted brackets are final. Bracket picks cannot be changed once the bracket has been submitted and requests to make changes to a submitted bracket will be ignored. 3. You need not be a subscriber to the Star-Herald in order to enter the 2023 Bracket Buster Challenge. You may submit as many entries as you wish using the entry blank printed in the Star-Herald. (MECHANICALLY PRODUCED OR CARBON DUPLICATE FACSIMLES OF ANY TYPE WILL BE REJECTED.) 4. All bracket submissions must be received or postmarked by Wednesday, March 15, 2023. Submissions may also be deposited at the drop boxes listed until 10:00AM on Thursday, March 16, 2023. 5. The Star-Herald will award a visa gift card to the contestant who has the highest number of points at the end of the tournament. One point will be awarded for every correct pick. 6. Visa Gift Cards will be structured as follows: First place will receive $250, Second place will receive $100 and Third place will receive $50. In the event of a tie, a tie-breaker based on the total amount of points scored in the championship game will be used. 7. Anyone is eligible to enter the challenge meeting the above requirements except employees of the Star Herald & family members of their household. 8. Every submission will be checked and no claiming is necessary. The decision of the judges is final & all contestants agree to abide by the judges’ decision. All entries become property of the Star-Herald. Only one prize will be awarded to a family unit. 9. The Star-Herald reserves the right to correct any typographical errors which may appear during the Challenge.
