 Students around the Panhandle enjoyed a field trip to the Wildcat Hills Thursday where they participated in various hands-on activities.

This is the 10th year the Wildcat Hills has hosted the outdoor education program, which Amanda Filipi, an outdoor education specialist with Nebraska Game and Parks, said seeks to get youth involved in outdoor activities. 

During the all-day outdoor adventure, students visited 16 stations, which included learning about archery, air rifle, bird watching, disk golf, outdoor cooking and wilderness survival, to list a few.
