While taking pictures at an event in 2018 I held baby Paisley in my arms. I noticed her feet on the fence and couldn't help but snap a picture. "Piggy's on a fence" is what I named it and it still makes me smile.

Harper, Paisley and my mom accompanied me to the Peterson Farm Bro's concert this past August. Paisley and Harper joined them on the stage twice and posed for a photo after the concert.
Hey there neighbors! That’s how I started my column six years ago when I stepped into my dream job as editor of a hometown newspaper. The Hemingford Ledger quickly became my passion. I then introduced myself as a proud mother of three beautiful girls. Ashlyn-15, Layla-11, and Paisley was just 1-year-old. Before The Ledger I was with the Times-Herald for four years, so my girls have known the newspaper business since they were very young. I have always called them “my little assistants” as they were often with me at events that I covered. Making memories with them while I worked was always a perk. Since then, one more was added to the mix, Harper. Now the ages are Ashlyn-21, Layla-17, Paisley-7 and Harper-3.
