The YMCA currently offers private swimming lessons by request. Lessons will operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Once this request form has been received, you will be contacted to set up days and times. If lessons are full, the form will be kept on file until times become available.
Lesson rates
The cost is $26 per 45-minute lesson. The non-member rate is $28 per 45-minute lesson.
Payment for lessons will not be taken until after lesson times have been set up with an instructor. Payment must be received before the first lesson.
Scheduling and payments
A punch card system will be used to pay for and keep track of the lessons. You must stop at the front desk before each lesson to get your card punched.
Lessons will typically be set for a certain day and time and run that same day and time for eight weeks. However, staff can exercise flexibility to work around schedules.
Lessons can be purchased at a minimum of four and a maximum of eight at one time. Once 16 have been purchased, you will need to fill out a new request form and be placed at the back of the list.
