SCOTTSBLUFF, NE – United Way of Western Nebraska in partnership with Food Bank for the Heartland is hosting a mobile food pantry in Scottsbluff County on Wednesday, August 19 at 4 p.m. at the Guadalupe Center, located at 1200 East 9th Street in Scottsbluff. It is a mobile food pantry and patrons are asked to remain in their vehicles. Walk-ups are welcome and are asked to remain in line, in order to assist those in the order that they arrive.
This free event is open to the public and provides food for families in need, with one distribution per household. The Mobile Pantry Program delivers fresh and shelf-stable food directly to communities with a high need but limited food resources. These one-day, drive-through distributions are free to attend. Community packs include various shelf-stable items. Along with community packs, other items distributed can include assorted produce, bread and dairy products.
A brief intake form will be completed for each household receiving food.

Additional United Way mobile food pantries will be in Hyannis on Wednesday, September 23 and Alliance on Wednesday, October 21, with the next Scottsbluff mobile pantry on Wednesday, November 18.
